Edward Bateman
Edward graduated from Glasgow University in 2006, beginning his career in general dental practice in Glasgow. In 2009, he gained the MJDF qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, in London.
He is an active committee member of the West of Scotland branch of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners and is now one of the faculty tutors for the MJDF exam. Edward’s main clinical interests are in cosmetic crown and bridgework, and orthodontics, and he has recently become accredited to provide clear removable braces, which can straighten teeth in a matter of weeks. Eddie plans to further his postgraduate education by undertaking a Diploma/Masters in Restorative Dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, he has a son, Sorley with his partner Gemma, he enjoys travelling and leading an active lifestyle; regularly running, swimming and more recently working on his allotment.
